David Tennant

Scottish actor (born 1971)

David John Tennant is a Scottish actor. His accolades include two BAFTA Scotland Awards, two Emmy Awards and nominations for three Laurence Olivier Awards. Raised in Paisley, Tennant trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and began his acting career primarily working in theatre. His first major television role was in the BBC drama Takin' Over the Asylum (1994). He gained further recognition for the serials Blackpool (2004) and Casanova (2005), and appeared in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005).

Jimmy McGovern

English screenwriter

James Stanley McGovern is an English screenwriter and producer. He is best known for creating the drama series Cracker (1993–1995), for which he received two Edgar Awards from the Mystery Writers of America. He also received recognition for creating drama series such as Hillsborough, The Lakes, The Street, and Accused, among others. On 8 December 2021, McGovern was awarded the Freedom of The City of Liverpool in recognition of his life's work.
