The Cook Politcal Report is now forecasting Democrats will gain five to 15 House seats in November’s midterm elections, which would be enough to flip the chamber with a 230-to-220-seat majority.
The area’s Republican voters are typically reliable, but Ken Paxton’s political baggage has some contemplating skipping his race or voting for the Democrat.
“Republicans are deploying our massive war chest to drive voters to the polls and supercharge our candidates," said Natalie Baldassarre, national press secretary for the RNC.
