President Donald Trump will hold a Midterm Rally in Dalton, Georgia, on October 16 at the Dalton Municipal Airport. The event opens at 11:30am, with speeches starting at 3:00pm. Trump will campaign alongside Sen. candidate Mike Collins and Gov. hopeful Rick Jackson ahead of Georgia’s November 3 general election.
The legislation, whose primary backer in Congress was the late Senator Lindsey Graham, was signed into law by Trump in September.
The president's visit comes with the midterm elections only a few weeks away.
