Protestant fraternal order based in Northern Ireland
The Loyal Orange Institution, commonly known as the Orange Order, is an international Protestant fraternal order based in Northern Ireland and primarily associated with sectarianism and Ulster Protestants. Due to the spread and outreach of Orangeism, there are lodges around the world, with lodges in England, Scotland, Wales, Republic of Ireland and the United States, as well as in parts of the Commonwealth of Nations, including West Africa, New Zealand and Australia. Historically, Orange lodges have existed in mainland Europe, Central America, South America, the Caribbean and Asia.

British Prime Minister Andy Burnham called for calm in Northern Ireland on Sunday after the Orange Order was given the go-ahead by the High Court in Belfast in a late-night sitting.
Crowd gathered on Garvaghy Road on Sunday to protest against a court ruling allowing the march.
Tensions have been running high in Northern Ireland after the Orange Order parade was blocked by thousands of protesters from making its way through the town of Portadown.
