Pope Leo XIV departs from France's northeastern city of Metz, bringing his fifth Apostolic Journey abroad to an end.
Shortly after 9am, Pope Leo XIV stepped off the plane at the Metz–Nancy–Lorraine Airport, for the last stop of his trip through France.
At an interreligious meeting during his visit to France, the Holy Father also highlighted the need for dialogue and called religions the “guardians of life.”
