After a soggy weekend, the Boston region can expect more windy and rainy but less intense conditions as the nor’easter lingers through Monday before conditions begin to dry out Tuesday, according to National Weather Service forecasts.
Rain was expected to continue overnight and through Sunday, with thunderstorms and coastal flooding possible.
