Prince Faisal bin Farhan is set to meet U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio after Washington declined a Saudi request for military strikes against the Iran-backed Houthis
Farhan's visit to the US comes after Yemen's Saudi-led coalition intercepted two ballistic missiles and two drones launched by the Houthis towards the kingdom, the coalition said.
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan has arrived in Washington for talks with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on bilateral ties and key regional and international developments, Saudi state news agency SPA reported.
