American actor (born 1959)
Kyle MacLachlan is an American actor. He is best known for his collaborations with David Lynch, having portrayed the role of Dale Cooper thrice in Twin Peaks, which won him a Golden Globe and nominations for two Primetime Emmy Awards, and its film prequel Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992), as well as playing Paul Atreides in Dune (1984) and Jeffrey Beaumont in Blue Velvet (1986).

David Keith Lynch was an American filmmaker and artist. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential filmmakers in the history of cinema, with his films often characterized by a distinctive surrealist sensibility that gave rise to the adjective "Lynchian". He is often credited with bringing surrealism and experimentalism to mainstream media in the late 20th century.
