KUALA LUMPUR: The next of kin of 55 Malaysians still missing from the Nepal flood disaster have appealed to the government to establish a special mechanism to defer financial commitments, such as a moratorium, to ease their financial burden.
More than 20 people have been killed in Nepal after days of heavy rain in the country triggered a new wave of landslides in the disaster-hit country.
Their next of kin say they want to avoid further complications while the legal status of their loved ones remains unresolved.
