Twenty people, including three children, were killed in a Russian attack on the southern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia on Saturday, a day after US President Donald Trump announced a deal to lift sanctions on Russian diesel in a major setback for Kyiv.
Zelensky said Friday that Trump’s announcement of an energy ceasefire “was news for me. If Russians agree to an energy ceasefire, Ukraine will agree,” according to Axios.
Volodymyr Zelensky says the attack, which left children dead, was Russia expressing its "thanks" for a US diesel deal.
