Washington has published the fine print of a tariff arrangement with Beijing covering roughly $30 billion in imports from each side, with about 90% of the products set to drop to most-favored-nation rates.
The tariff reductions would apply to US exports such as agricultural goods, wood and cosmetics, as well as US imports including small appliances, toys and decorations.
The United States and China agreed to cut tariffs on $30 billion of goods and start formal AI talks during Xi Jinping's Washington visit. The deals extend their trade truce and add new channels on technology, diplomacy and foreign policy.
