Japanese government ministry (1873–1947)
The Home Ministry was a Cabinet-level ministry established under the Meiji Constitution that managed the internal affairs of Empire of Japan from 1873 to 1947. Its duties included local administration, elections, police, monitoring people, social policy and public works. In 1938, the HM's social policy was detached from itself, then the Ministry of Health and Welfare was established.

Five early C18 observatories in India
A Jantar Mantar is an assembly of stone-built astronomical instruments, designed to be used with the naked eye. There were five Jantar Mantars in India, built between 1724 and 1735. All were built at the command of the Sawai Jai Singh II, who had a keen interest in mathematics, architecture and astronomy. A total of five Jantar Mantars were constructed across North India: Jaipur, Delhi, Ujjain, Varanasi, and Mathura. These compilations or Mishra Yantra gather up to 19 different astronomical instruments.
