Eastern Pacific hurricane in 2026
Hurricane Nolo is an active tropical cyclone currently impacting the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. The nineteenth named storm and ninth hurricane of the 2026 Pacific hurricane season, Nolo first formed as a tropical depression on September 13. Initially designated as Fifteen-E, it soon degenerated to a remnant low due to wind shear. The system continued to track generally westward and regained tropical depression status a week later, and soon intensified into Tropical Storm Nolo. On September 25, Nolo turned north-northeast and attained hurricane status.
