Meta unveiled camera-free smart glasses on Sept. 23. The glasses are designed to ease the privacy concerns about devices that can take pictures and video without consent.
As lawsuits and privacy concerns plague its wearables business, Meta plans to launch a new pair of AI-powered virtual-reality glasses designed to rival similar products from competitors like Apple.
Meta, which contests the allegations and plans to defend itself, is expected to unveil the glasses without cameras in two styles, one called Clubmaster and another named Burbank, according to the Information.
