Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow wind warning for eight counties today and a Status Yellow rain warning has also been issued for Cork, Kerry and Waterford.
Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow wind warning for Cork, with very strong and gusty southeasterly winds expected across the county. The warning is in effect from 1pm until 9pm on Tuesday (September 29).
The national forecaster has warned that “very strong and gusty” southeasterly winds could cause wave overtopping and flooding on coasts.
