Alameda County District Attorney Ursula Jones announced murder charges for the 77-year-old couple accused of fatally shooting their son-in-law Jonathan McKinsey, 40, at a public park in Dublin, California. Both were arraigned in court Wednesday.
A New York Times engineer allegedly killed by his elderly in-laws was in the middle of a bitter divorce and custody dispute with his wife, according to court documents.
Less than a month before Jonathan McKinsey was killed at a Dublin park, a judge had ordered custody exchanges to occur in public places where people could watch.
