Police say five U.K. nationals who were arrested near RAF Fairford air base in England, which is used by U.S. forces, have been released on bail.
The men have been detained on suspicion of preparation of a terrorist act after three suspicious vehicles were reported to be travelling towards the base.
The incident triggered a massive response, with homes evacuated and bomb disposal teams searching three vans close to the base.
