The pair of Chinese giant pandas Ping Ping and Fu Shuang arrived at Zoo Atlanta on Sunday local time for a 10-year stay, receiving a warm welcome from visitors eager to meet them.
Chinese President Xi Jinping announced that the pandas would arrive in Atlanta in the coming days.
Zoo visitors will have to wait a while to see Ping Ping and Fu Shuang, officials said.
