Questions about the motive of the co-pilot who tried to crash a packed flight from Dubai to Israel continue to swirl.
"The dream was to crash into Ben-Gurion Airport," Omani pilot Hamam al-Hammami said during interrogation, an Israeli source told The Jerusalem Post on Sunday.
The captain, who was badly wounded, has said he used his remaining energy while being stabbed to unlock the cockpit door, allowing people who had noticed alarmingly unusual sounds to come in, tackle the co-pilot and stabilize the plane.
