Byron Donalds’ campaign removed several mentions of Trump name from its website, including a top banner that encouraged supporters to “chip in to support Trump Endorsed Byron Donalds.”
Trump, who once declared that the Republican “WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN,” did a 180 on his “complete and total endorsement” of the congresswoman.
Donald Trumps backing gave Donalds an early boost in his bid for the Republican nomination. The president endorsed the congressman shortly before Donalds officially launched his campaign for Florida governor.
