Serbia’s populist President Aleksandar Vucic has resigned the post to pursue a bid to become the prime minister in an upcoming early parliamentary election.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Sunday that he would formally submit his resignation at around 8 p.m. (1800 GMT), during an interview with Radio Television of Serbia.
