Trinidadian-Grenadian calypso singer Mighty Sparrow (aka Slinger Francisco) died at 91.
The legendary calypso singer Slinger Francisco, known popularly as Mighty Sparrow, has died at 91 years old.
Francisco will be remembered as “a towering figure whose music helped carry calypso from Trinidad and Tobago to the world,” one tribute said.
