LPU founder-chancellor Ashok Mittal said the campus violence and social media rumours should be investigated, including possible links to events at Chitkara University
Lovely Professional University (LPU) founder and BJP MP Ashok Kumar Mittal has alleged that the violent protests on the university campus were part of a “highly organised conspiracy” aimed at destabilising Punjab, saying the incident had implications beyond the university.
“It is an attempt to break the Hindu-Sikh unity of Punjab and damage its goodwill. It is an attempt to destabilise Punjab, which is a border state. Why did such an attack take place? Who let it happen?” Mittal, the founder chancellor of the varsity, asked.
