Diplomatic efforts between the US and Iran through mediators continued Monday after President Trump rebuffed Iran’s latest proposal to reopen the critical Strait of Hormuz.
Trump has told aides that he expects to resume bombing after the midterm election day. The Strait of Hormuz remains less open than on 27 February.
