Eastern Pacific hurricane in 2026
Hurricane Nolo is an active tropical cyclone south of the Hawaiian Islands, currently impacting the archipelago. The nineteenth named storm and ninth hurricane of the 2026 Pacific hurricane season, Nolo first formed as a tropical depression on September 13. Initially designated as Fifteen-E, it soon degenerated to a remnant low due to wind shear.

Hurricane Nolo is moving away from the Hawaiian Islands, but the threat of heavy rain, flash flooding and strong winds persists in areas still recovering from previous storms.
Nolo was churning slowly south of Hawaii’s Big Island on Saturday with maximum sustained winds of 105 mph.
