British police have arrested five men near RAF Fairford, an air base used by the United States during its war with Iran, on suspicion of preparing an act of terrorism.
Counterterrorism authorities cordoned off the area outside the base, which is used as a staging ground for B-1B and B-52 bombers.
The RAF Fairford base has been used by U.S. forces involved in targeting Iran since the start of the war in February.
