About News Atlas
News Atlas is a free, fast way to browse what the world is publishing right now. We collect headlines from established news organizations in many languages and present them in one clean, mobile-friendly feed — no account, no paywall, no clutter.
What we do — and don’t do
- We collect, we don’t write. News Atlas does not write, rewrite, or edit news. Every headline is shown as its publisher released it, with the source clearly labeled.
- Every story goes to the source. Opening a story takes you to the publisher’s own site to read the full article.
- Credit stays with publishers. Headlines, summaries, and images belong to their respective owners.
Where the headlines come from
- Publisher RSS feeds — for example BBC, The Guardian, NPR, The New York Times, Al Jazeera, France 24, Le Monde, El País, Der Spiegel, Tagesschau, NHK, and others.
- Google News — for languages where we don’t yet have a direct publisher feed.
- GDELT Project — open data used for the Trending and Tone & Volume pages, which show how much the world is covering a topic and in what tone.
Translation
In some languages we show a machine translation of a headline so you can scan the feed in your language. Translated headlines always show the original title too, and the linked article is the publisher’s original.
