Clifton Gachagua ist ein kenianischer Schriftsteller. Er arbeitet zudem als Drehbuchautor, Filmemacher und Übersetzer. Er wurde mit dem Gedichtband Madman at Kilifi bekannt, der 2013 den erstmals vergebenen Sillerman First Book Prize for African Poets gewann. 2014 wurde er in die von Hay Festival und Rainbow Book Club kuratierte Auswahl Africa39 aufgenommen.
