In yet another instance of an IndiGo Airbus A321 tail strike, an aircraft (VT-NHP) operating a Guwahati-Bengaluru flight Sunday suffered one while going around at its destination.
An IndiGo flight from Guwahati suffered a tail strike during its second landing approach at Bengaluru airport. The aircraft landed safely, all passengers disembarked, and an alternate aircraft was arranged for the Bengaluru-Coimbatore leg.
IndiGo said in a statement that its aircraft operating its Guwahati-Bengaluru flight experienced "abnormal runway contact" while landing during gusty weather at the Kempegowda International Airport
