MANILA, Philippines — The embattled Alas Pilipinas men’s national volleyball team put up a spirited fight against World No. 34 China, but ultimately fell in four sets, 25-20, 25-21, 25-20, 25-21, in the preliminary round of the 2026 Asian Games on Monday at the Park Arena Komaki in Aichi Prefecture, Japan.
Alas Pilipinas Men put up a fight but came up short against South Korea, 16-25, 25-27, 22-25, in their opening match at the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026, Sunday at the Park Arena Komaki.
Alas Pilipinas Men fell to China in straight sets and were eliminated from Asian Games quarterfinal contention but will still play in the classification round
