Eastern Pacific hurricane in 2026
Hurricane Nolo is an active tropical cyclone south of the Hawaiian Islands, currently impacting the archipelago. The nineteenth named storm and ninth hurricane of the 2026 Pacific hurricane season, Nolo first formed as a tropical depression on September 13. Initially designated as Fifteen-E, it soon degenerated to a remnant low due to wind shear.

Hurricane Nolo will continue to strengthen as it moves away from Hawaii, forecasters said, but it was still expected to lash the Big Island and Maui with heavy rain.
