The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) forecasts heavy thunderstorms across parts of Jazan, Asir and Al-Baha on Sunday, as a red alert for thick fog remains in effect across parts of the Eastern Province.
The met office forecasts rain, isolated thunderstorms, possible hail and stronger winds from late Sunday night into Monday.
A Yellow Level 2 warning has been issued for severe thunderstorms, excessive lightning, small hail and gusty winds in parts of the Northern Cape and Western Cape.
