Hungary's consumer prices rose 1.6% year on year in September 2026 and 0.2% from August, as food prices fell 1.3% annually while services climbed 4.9%, according to the Hungarian Central Statistical Office.
In September, prices in Uzbekistan rose 0.7%, up from 0.2% in August. Since the beginning of the year, inflation slowed to 4.2% from 5.1% a year earlier. Over the past year, price for propane for cars grew by 49%, tomatoes by 55%, petrol by 20% and meat by 18%.
