BBC Radio is an operational business division and service of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) which has operated in the United Kingdom under the terms of a royal charter since 1927. The service provides national radio stations covering the majority of musical genres, as well as local radio stations covering local news, affairs, and interests. It also oversees online audio content.

English broadcaster (born 1974)
Sara Joanne Cyzer, better known by her maiden name Sara Cox, is an English radio DJ, television presenter and author. She hosted a range of BBC Radio 1 shows from 1999 to 2014, including the breakfast show from 2000 to 2003. She later joined Radio 2 and has hosted its breakfast show since July 2026.

Drive-time periods are when the number of radio listeners in this class is at its peak and, thus, commercial radio can generate the most revenue from advertising.
