A Russian jet drone crashed near the Yahodyn border crossing with Poland on Sept. 28, prompting Polish military forces to scramble fighter jets.
The Polish Prime Minister has warned that the coming weeks and months will be extremely difficult due to Russia’s increasingly aggressive actions against Ukraine, which are drawing closer to Polish territory.
Poland put aircraft and air defenses on alert as the strike forced an evacuation of the crossing, marking the second Russian hit near the Ukrainian village this month.
