An avalanche has struck the Himlung Himal base camp in Nepal after days of severe weather. Two guides are confirmed dead and at least 14 people remain missing in the remote region.
Persistent rain, snowfall also trigger landslides and flooding in other parts of country, with at least 1 person killed.
At least 10 people have gone missing after an avalanche struck the base camp of Himlung Himal in western Nepal, near the Tibet border, expedition organisers said on Sunday.
