Hasan Mahmud creates history as the first Bangladesh fast bowler to take a Test hat-trick, claiming three wickets in three balls against Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi
Bangladesh pacer Hasan Mahmud made history on Sunday, October 11, becoming the first fast bowler from the country to take a Test hat-trick. The 26-year-old dismissed Ismat Alam, Qais Ahmad and Zia-ur-Rehman in consecutive deliveries on Day 3 of the one-off Test against Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi.
Hasan became only the third Bangladeshi bowler to take a Test hat-trick, following Alok Kapali, who achieved the feat against Pakistan in Peshawar in 2003, and Sohag Gazi, who took one against New Zealand in Chattogram in 2013.
