After a dry start to the week, tropical moisture from the Eastern Pacific will make for a rainy midweek
A brief break from rain ends Monday night as a significant weather system moves into Nebraska, bringing widespread rain and thunderstorm chances through Thursday. Expected rainfall totals of 2-4″+ could bring flooding concerns to area rivers and streams.
The start of week will be dry, but not as sunny as the weekend. Highs on Monday will be near 70 degrees, some places in the upper 60s where we have the extra cloud coverage.
