American football player (born 1994)
Jared Thomas Goff is an American professional football quarterback for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the California Golden Bears, earning first-team All-Pac-12 honors in 2015 and setting Pac-12 Conference single-season records for passing yards and passing touchdowns. Selected first overall by the Los Angeles Rams in the 2016 NFL draft, Goff had a breakout season in 2017, leading the Rams to their first playoff appearance since 2004. The following year, Goff led Los Angeles to Super Bowl LIII.
