Iran said it was ready for diplomacy but prepared for renewed U.S. attacks, as President Donald Trump said he expected more talks this week after rejecting Tehran’s proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in a social media post that Tehran is open to "real diplomacy" with the United States but fully prepared to confront new attacks, "even if it comes to an apocalyptic war".
