It’s been nearly a year since a car going the wrong way down Route 5 in West Springfield hit and critically injured a mother who was just trying to get to work.
Officials say the driver that caused a horrific four-car crash in New Jersey on Monday was being chased by police before he crashed into a family of three, including a baby.
The crash happened on East Linden Avenue, where neighbors said police were chasing the driver of a gray SUV. Witnesses said the driver was attempting to evade police.
