Troops of Sector 2, Operation Fansan Yamma, have rescued 41 travellers who were abducted after their vehicle broke down along a major highway in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
The military says the 41 travellers were rescued unharmed. It identified them as 24 men, 10 women and seven children
According to the Nigerian Army on Tuesday, the vehicle, travelling from Senegal to Kano, developed a mechanical fault along the highway.
