Two men accused of carrying out surveillance on the Israeli Embassy, Britain’s oldest synagogue and other Jewish and Israeli-linked sites in London on behalf of Iran pleaded not guilty on Friday.
The defendants accept they carried out surveillance, but one claims he was forced to do so, while the other two insist they were unaware that they were doing so for the benefit of the regime
The prosecution says the targets were journalists working for a satellite channel critical of the Iranian government.
