A pair of giant pandas, Ping Ping and Fu Shuang, departed from Chengdu, China, on Sunday morning to begin a 10-year stay at Zoo Atlanta as part of a joint agreement between the Chinese and American governments.
Zoo Atlanta said giant pandas Ping Ping and Fu Shuang arrived at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on Sunday morning.
Chinese President Xi Jinping announced that the pandas would arrive in Atlanta in the coming days.
