The FAA is investigating a software glitch in some Boeing 737 Max jets that could prompt an automated flight guidance system to disengage during an aborted landing.
Boeing was made aware of the glitch in 2024 and in September shared findings from a review board with the FAA.
The glitch could potentially cause problems in some 737 Max jets during landing.
