Israel escalates retaliatory measures as Western sanctions target illegal West Bank settlements.
Israel on Sunday said it made the move in response to Dutch sanctions targeting Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
The Netherlands has expressed regret over Israel’s decision to revoke diplomatic accreditation of Dutch officials in the West Bank, following Dutch sanctions on goods from Israeli settlements. The Dutch Foreign Minister stated the action was not meant against Israel.
