The U.S. Coast Guard said Tuesday it had rescued 49 people and was searching for 10 others after a boat carrying migrants recently capsized in open waters west of Puerto Rico.
This incident comes only two days after at least 41 people died in another boat capsizing in DRC.
This incident marks the latest deadly migrant voyage in the treacherous Mona Passage, often used by those fleeing Haiti.
