An avalanche has struck the Himlung Himal base camp in Nepal after days of severe weather. Two guides are confirmed dead and at least 14 people remain missing in the remote region.
All of the missing are local workers. Despite warnings to avoid dangerous areas, staff could have been setting up base camp before climbing resumes.
