Poland put aircraft and air defenses on alert as the strike forced an evacuation of the crossing, marking the second Russian hit near the Ukrainian village this month.
A Russian strike drone hit several hundred metres from the Yahodyn border crossing in Volyn Oblast, Ukrainian officials say the crossing itself was not damaged.
Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz said the drone struck Ukrainian territory around 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the Dorohusk crossing and did not enter Polish airspace.
